Considering the Great Exchange

April 7, 2017
Hello Church:  As we enter the week that we call Easter remembering the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ will you join me in meditating on what happened at the cross with this verse -  2 Corinthians 5:21 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, SO THAT we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Join me in considering the implications of the cross of Christ through the truth of that one verse:

God the Father made Christ to be sin without being a sinner… my sin, your sin, all sin gathered up and made to be Christ's.

As believers, trusting in Christ as the one who has bore our sins and its punishment, we get His righteousness.  All of His holiness gathered up and made to be ours.

REJOICE IN THE GREAT EXCHANGE!

I hope to see you Sunday to worship our Redeeming God through the sacrifice of Christ and in the power of His Holy Spirit.
