Living as "Trophies of God's Grace"

January 12, 2018
Hello GCT:  Remember the two parts of Ephesians?

1) Who we are in Christ! Ephesians 1:1-3:21.  Paul clearly tells us what our Father in Heaven has accomplished in Christ for us. It is truly amazing -   Please read this again before Sunday.
2) The call of God for us to live a life WORTHY of the exceedingly great favor God has shown us in Chapters 1,2,3.  Chapters 4-6 are how we are to apply chapters 1-3.  We are called to live life as "trophies of God's grace."

This Sunday we will be in Ephesians 4 enjoying scripture gently, yet firmly reminding us of what a life looks like that remembers the WORTH of the call of God on our lives.  The next several months will be Christianity Applied 101 as we look at applying “the worth of our calling" to every relationship that exists in our life.

Ephesians 4:1-6 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all,who is over all and through all and in all.

See you at Worship, Steve
